The MACH 6 is based on Memjet technology, and utilizes the new Sirius platform. It offers a six-inch touchscreen color interface, which graphically displays the status of the printing system, and provides access to common functions and settings. An open-throat and straight paper path accommodates 10"x13" envelopes, stuffed envelopers, chip board, corrugated cardboard and flat cartons with an integrated heavy-duty feeder. The device features two print modes: normal mode, running at 60 inches per second with a resolution of 1600 x 800 dots per inch, and best mode, at 30 inches per second and 1600 x 1600 dots per inch, resulting in higher output quality and color depth. According to Neopost, the MACH 6 will help commercial printers to expand the affordable, short-run color printing products toward which the market is shifting.
