Along with partners Google, Vuzix and Ubimax, DHL Supply Chain is expanding the program across industry sectors on a global scale. The first U.S. vision-picking pilot is underway at a retail warehouse in Columbus, OH, where the technology is being used for cluster picking, single picking and retail store order picking. Other pilot sites include mainland Europe, the United Kingdom and the Ricoh facility in Bergen op Zoom in the Netherlands. According to DHL Supply Chain, initial tests of the technology showed a "significant" increase in productivity, reduced error rates and rise in employee satisfaction.
