The MT7000 features a seven-inch display and intuitive user interface with 10-point multi-touch PCT touchscreen. Its backup battery can power the device independently from the car battery. Smart power management features automatically turn it on and off to update positioning information while conserving energy. Ubiqconn's open API/SDK support allows users to develop custom applications, the vendor noted. The MT7000 supports a wide range of operating systems, including multiple versions of embedded Windows, Linux and Android 4.4. Connection options include 4G/LTE mobile broadband, 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0.
