MyFreightWorld has contracted LTL rates with more than 40 national and regional carriers, and those rates are now integrated directly into Aljex, providing users access to discounted LTL rates within their TMS, Aljex says.
Rates are delivered via existing Application Programming Interface technology into Aljex's Logistics module, powered by long-time partner company SaaS Transportation, a firm specializing in web-based TMS for LTL.
Users enter in details of a potential shipment, and they are returned with real-time, least-cost routing and several price points based on supply, demand and service provider, Aljex says. After rates are generated, a user can book a load, tender it automatically to the carrier and receive back tracking and delivery information.
