Data Exchange Corp. (DEX) is broadening its service offerings to include consulting and supply-chain design. The company has long been a provider of supply-chain applications for high-tech industries. It is drawing on that expertise to perform additional services for clients. DEX is now offering end-to-end consulting for companies' supply chains, covering such areas as leading supply-chain-management applications, compliance and governance requirements, application integration, and business analysis. DEX engineers provide reverse-engineering services focusing on design, process creation and technology. DEX Systems, the vendor's IT division, develops software for business-process management. The company said it can help clients to achieve rapid design, integration and deployment of IT systems. DEX also offers systems analysis and project-implementation management.
