The post-pandemic age will require a whole new way by which employers recruit, hire and retain talent.
In many if not most hiring situations, the balance of power rests with the prospective employer. Job candidates are required to sell themselves to the company, often by answering a series of questions that sometimes border on the bizarre. But the coronavirus pandemic necessitates a radical change in that dynamic, says author and business recruitment strategist Jack Whatley. He says the pandemic is changing what many workers value in a job, and that employers must alter their hiring practices accordingly. On this episode, we discuss why it’s important for employers to launch their own “branding campaigns” to attract and retain top talent. We also learn the definitions and importance of an “employer engagement algorithm” and a “Human Code DNA Hiring System.” Hiring will never be the same. Hosted by Bob Bowman, Editor-in-Chief of SupplyChainBrain.
