Labelmaster, the maker of products for complying with rules on the shipment of hazardous materials, has introduced a new line of labels for drums. The Premium Laser Litho and Dura-Vinyl labels can help users to meet stringent regulatory requirements, the company said. Designed to comply with DOT 49 CFR regulations, they are reviewed for accuracy and color consistency, and double-checked by regulatory experts prior to shipment. Labelmaster now offers completely printed drum labels, ready to apply "out of the box," as well as labels that the customer secondarily imprints via laser or thermal printers. UV inks are cured, to provide durability in indoor and outdoor environments. The colors are light-fast and fade-resistant. The labels are offered in hundreds of sizes, in roll or sheet formats. The vinyl labels, specially formulated for outdoor use, are designed to pass the IMO 90-day seawater immersion test, Labelmaster said.
