Traton SE is disposing of the sales and financing operations of its MAN and Scania truck-making businesses in Russia, expecting an additional charge of as much as 550 million euros ($560 million).
The transactions will be completed by the first quarter of next year and the charges won’t impact the truck maker’s adjusted operating margin forecast, Traton said Tuesday.
The truck maker already incurred write-downs and additional expenses of 113 million euros during the first half this year due to the war in Ukraine.
The shares declined 0.7% at 12:58 p.m. Sept. 13 in Frankfurt trading.
