The Global Trade Services business of JPMorgan Treasury Services has opened an operations center in Bydgoszcz, Poland. The move was taken to service existing and new clients in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, the company said. The center will provide full back-office support for JPMorgan's trade-finance and logistics clients in the region. It will also support efforts by the Treasury Services division to expand business within Poland. Bydgoszcz will be an important center for the company's global trade business, as well as a gateway into eastern Europe, according to Alexander Caviezel, regional executive for EMEA. JPMorgan Global Trade Services helps customers to manage their physical and financial supply chains with a full range of trade and logistics services. The Treasury Services business is a provider of payment, collection, liquidity, investment management, trade finance, commercial card and information services.
