Seko, the global third-party logistics provider, has opened several new or expanded offices in the past few weeks. A new facility in Scotland provides import and export trade services and customs brokerage, serving the country from Glasgow and surrounding areas. Located between Glasgow and Edinburgh, it will act as a sales support and service center for the Seko Global Logistics network. Seko Scotland is one of many new offices that the company has recently opened in Europe. It expands on several existing locations throughout the U.K., including three in London and one in Manchester. In another company development, Seko's Hong Kong operation has joined forces with its U.K. arm, Seko Synergy Ltd., to form a new Hong Kong-based company dedicated to increasing market share in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The new company, named Seko Synergy Greater China (SSGC) Ltd., is located in the same building as Seko Hong Kong. It is dedicated to handling all supply-chain activity and pricing to and from China and Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Finally, Seko announced the expansion of its facility at New York's JFK International Airport. The newly enhanced office is housed in the same building as its existing Seko JFK gateway office, which primarily serves as a center for consolidating freight for international operations. The new office addition will add strategic sales capabilities and the handling of domestic freight.
