Intalio, Inc., a vendor of open-source business process management software, has released version 5.2 of its Intalio/BPMS application. New features address customer requirements for monitoring and managing business activities, provide support for the latest industry standards, and allow for increased stability and performance integrated on a wide array of platforms. Business activity monitoring (BAM) provides companies with a unified view of their operations through key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards and reports. Including BAM within Intalio/BPMS 5.2 allows users to define their KPIs for real-time analysis of the data needed to run core business functions. Dashboard components can be configured to track the information in easy-to-understand data visualization tools such as charts and graphs. The reports can also be exported and shared via PDF documents and spreadsheets. According to the vendor, Intalio/BPMS 5.2 is certified on more than 300 combinations of hardware, operating systems, application servers and databases.
