SaaS provider TrusTrace is launching a new artificial intelligence software that lets retail companies monitor their supply chains for potential signs of forced labor.
TrusTrace's Forced Labor Prevention Solution (FLP) uses AI to map out a company's supply chain, collecting data from suppliers to get details on facilities, products and materials. It then screens that data to assess whether those products and materials might be coming from an entity on U.S. Customs and Border Patrol's list of suppliers known to use forced labor.
“Our comprehensive FLP solution is not just a tool, but a commitment to a world where transparency and ethical practices in supply chains are non-negotiable," TrusTrace CEO Shameek Ghosh said. "Ensuring that forced labor has no place in our global economy is critical, and with our solution, brands can proactively and confidently lead the way in this imperative transformation, instead of merely ensuring they have a solution for the release of detained shipments."
TrusTrace says that it's technology has traced more than two million purchase orders to date, while mapping over 55,000 suppliers and facilities across the globe.
