Capgemini, the global consultant and provider of technology and outsourcing services, is offering supply-chain software from Oracle Corp. to its clients. The relevant suite of applications includes Oracle's Demantra, Transportation Management, Advanced Planning & Scheduling, Agile PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and Business Intelligence. In addition, Capgemini and Oracle are jointly sponsoring a study for the Council for Forecast Accuracy for the Trade Promotions Management Association. Results are expected to be released in the next few months, the companies said. Capgemini clients receive a number of regular research reports, including the Future Supply Chain 2016 Study, the Third-Party Logistics Study and the Annual Trends and Issues in Logistics and Supply Chain Management Study. Capgemini has a presence in 36 countries, and a worldwide staff of more than 86,000.
