Sonasoft Corp. has signed a North America distribution agreement with Avnet Technology Solutions. Sonasoft sells SonaSafe, software for backup, high availability and disaster recovery. Avnet will distribute Sonasoft's Point-Click Recovery application for Microsoft Exchange, SQL and Windows File Systems, both as a standalone software offering and as part of an integrated appliance using HP servers. Sonasoft recently announced the expansion of its channel program. The vendor's partner program is intended to help both new and existing Sonasoft partners to acquire customers through such benefits as partner marketing, joint sales-engagement opportunities with dedicated sales and technical resources, and sales and technical training. Avnet Technology Solutions is an operating group of Avnet, Inc., a distributor of electronic components, computer products and technology services and software. It claims more than 300 locations serving more than 70 countries.
