ALK Technologies, Inc. is partnering with Transplant GPS, Inc., a vendor of global positioning system products, to offer the next generation of the latter's RightWay GPS Navigator systems. The newest RightWay GPS products, the RightWay 200 and Rightway 400, are built on ALK's CoPilot Live satellite navigation software. Rightway GPS Navigators are portable GPS navigation devices, which include a movie player, photo viewer, music player and electronic-book reader, in addition to CoPilot Live navigation software. CoPilot Live features predictive text data entry, voice prompts and full text-to-speech capabilities. Map views include 2D, 3D and driver safety. Users can select route preferences and avoid certain routes if needed, the companies said. CoPilot Live software features one million points of interest and a gas calculator to identify the most efficient route for a long trip. Additional features include a 3.5-inch (RightWay 200) or 4.3-inch (RightWay 400) color touch screen, full spoken street names using advanced text-to-speech technology, street name turn-by-turn directions and voice-guided prompts, one million searchable points of interest and more than six million miles of roadway throughout the U.S. The all-in-one product includes a GPS mounting system, car charger, user manual and quick-start guide.
