Avatech Solutions Inc., a professional services company for design and engineering technologies, is now offering Online Seminar Learning. The service, a series of training seminars, is aimed at design-engineering and architectural firms. The short sessions are live and can be accessed from the student's own desktop. Initially, Avatech is offering 30 seminars to individuals working in the areas of general computer-assistant design (CAD), building systems, manufacturing engineering and infrastructure engineering. Individual topics include custom user interfaces and workspaces; gaining efficiency with assembly-management tools; rendering techniques; managing topology; and the creation, management and customization of schedules. Seminars average one to two hours; prices run from $99 to $199, depending on length.
