TradeBeam, a vendor of global trade management software in a hosted (software-as-a-service) mode, has developed version 7.4 of i-Supply, its application for collaborative inventory management. i-Supply relies on standardized metrics from the Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) model, as well as new order lead time measurements, to help companies more accurately rate their suppliers and respond more quickly to customer demand. According to TradeBeam, Version 7.4 offers improved visibility into inventory levels, forecasts and usage data between suppliers and buyers. Users can access their supply chains and rate suppliers without going through comprehensive processes. Businesses can operate as usual while information for the metrics is collected. The new i-Supply also includes an order lead-time measurement feature and "Pipeline" alert, which notify the user when items need to be reordered. An enhanced Kanban Shipment Control feature aids in the management of the Kanban cycle to mirror customer demand. The updated i-Supply is available for purchase immediately. It is operational in 41 countries and 11 languages, including Chinese (both simplified and traditional), English, French, German, Korea, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Romanian and Spanish.
