SciQuest, Inc. is partnering with Ceiba Solutions, Inc. to support and synchronize the business processes of life-sciences companies. SciQuest focuses on applications for strategic procurement. Ceiba specializes in business-application integration. According to the two companies, the partnership will allow life-sciences organizations to seamlessly integrate their enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems with procurement applications delivered by SciQuest. They can automate financial-management processes while gaining visibility into company-wide spending. SciQuest's software integrates with any ERP system, the company said. Ceiba's applications allow for the synchronization of data and related workflow for purchase orders, supplier profiles, master data files and general ledger accounts used between SciQuest e-procurement software and ERP systems from Ross, Oracle and Lawson, among others.
