Amber Road, a vendor of global trade management (GTM) software, has released Performance Management. The new product consists of a set of business-intelligence tools for the company's suite of GTM applications, which include supply-chain visibility, export compliance, import automation and trade-agreement management. Performance Management offers functionality for Web reporting, metrics management and data synchronization. The application includes a portal for the scheduling of reports, the alerting of users when new reports are available, and the sending of documents. Featured are more than 80 standard reports to manage such key metrics as cycle time, trading-partner performance, landed cost and data quality. A Web-based reporting tool performs ad hoc queries and multi-dimensional analyses, with the ability to drill down to operational details. Reports can be customized by dragging and dropping data, inserting calculations and adding graphs. A management dashboard provides a consolidated view of key performance indicators and reports.
