The application provides access to current and future duty rates, both general and preferential. It collects global regulatory information to supply up-to-date trade content. According to TradeBeam, users can simplify the process of determining duty rates, allowing for more accurate sourcing decisions. The Duty Rate Calculator features advanced query functionality for world-trade regulatory information from various government agencies. It aggregates and structures the data into a usable format for "what-if" analyses. TradeBeam also announced a webinar, entitled "Gain Competitive Advantage Through Free Trade Agreements," scheduled for April 8 at 11:00 a.m. PDT (2:00 p.m. EDT). The webinar will feature Tom Travis, managing partner of Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg, P.A., and Anne van de Heetkamp, TradeBeam's director of global trade compliance.
