Melissa Data is now offering a single technology platform to support master data management (MDM) and data-quality initiatives. The company is a provider of systems for managing data quality, contact data verification and mail management. The new Total Data Quality Integration Toolkit (TDQ-IT) integrates into Microsoft's SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS 2005/2008) to provide a full range of data-quality processes, including data profiling, cleansing, parsing, standardization, matching and monitoring within Microsoft SSIS. The technology allows customers seamlessly to integrate "best-of-breed" systems with SSIS, the company said. Both SSIS and TDQ-IT can be deployed quickly to integrate large volumes of diverse data sources with complex transformations and data cleansing, for a wide variety of data-quality and MDM applications. TDQ-IT also includes a sharable data-driven architecture, providing a reusable library of transformations within SSIS.
