Accellos, a vendor of supply-chain execution software, has developed Accellos One Claims, a system for the tracking and management of freight claims built on the Microsoft CRM (customer relationship management) foundation. One Claims allows transportation companies, as well as other entities that interact with freight brokers or carriers, to capture all relevant information about a claim, including pictures and videos, and assign it to a company-designed workflow. By evaluating the progress of the claim through its lifecycle, a user can enable certain specific events, including the sending of conditionally determined e-mails, reports and letters, and escalations. In a related announcement, Accellos has issued version 3.3 of Accellos One Warehouse Collect for Microsoft Dynamics GP. The application extends the inventory management capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics GP by refocusing key processes such as picking, receiving, physical count and bin management from a tethered PC to a handheld computer. New options within version 3.3 include enhanced support for Dynamics GP Manufacturing, serial expiration, supply-chain intelligence and multi-user picking.
