Vangard Voice Systems, Inc., provider of the AccuSpeechMobile Voice Platform, has entered into a partnership with Z-Space Technologies. A developer of software for mobile data collection on handheld computers, Z-Space will integrate AccuSpeechMobile technology into its ITScriptNet platform. The deal allows Z-Space customers to speed up the development of their custom mobile applications, and quickly add voice-directed capabilities, the companies said. ITScriptNet is a data-collection development platform, which allows resellers and end users to create applications for mobile handheld computers. It supports most mobile devices with a Windows CE or Windows Mobile operating system. In a related announcement, Vangard has teamed up with Excalibur Integrated Systems, a vendor of systems for field mobility, data collection and secure wireless networks. Through Vangard's Mobile Voice Platform, Excalibur will offer customers the ability to add voice-directed data capture, navigation and control capabilities to their existing mobile applications.
