Aljex Software, Inc. has implemented a number of upgrades to its Aljex TIN transportation-management application for freight brokers. The newest version includes additional reports, expanded accounting options and an optional ribbon of active loads which moves across the top of the screen like a market ticker. The Aljex Load Ticker can be turned on and off with the click of a button on the TIN main page. The accounts page offers single-click access to account balances, tracking and associated documents. Agents clicking on a load for information and status also have a one-click option to upload or view associated scanned documents. Customer preferences, covering such elements as billing method, pallet exchange policies and mileage calculation choices, copy automatically to new orders. More individual account statistics now display on a customer's preference page, Aljex said. Driving directions to shipper and consignee locations save automatically for instant retrieval. The application's Big Export feature, which enables Aljex users to download virtually all of their data in a standard format, has been expanded. TIN includes Google mapping and integrated access to major load boards.
