Panjiva has developed a new program which allows companies to publish information about global suppliers. Information within the onPanjiva program will be available to participants via Panjiva Search, a search engine for global trade. OnPanjiva is part of a broader company strategy to diversify its data sources, on behalf of companies that need to make strategic supply chain decisions, the company says. Between now and Aug. 31, global businesses can nominate information providers they would like to see in the onPanjiva database. The first company to nominate an information provider that ultimately publishes its information in that manner will receive one year's worth of free access from that provider, Panjiva says. Information providers can also nominate themselves for inclusion in onPanjiva.
