Oracle Corp. has issued the latest release of its Oracle Demand Signal Repository. The application allows users to rely on external demand data in order to lower stockouts at the store shelf, while improving the execution of promotions and new-product introductions. The new release includes a number of enhancements which enable improved store-level replenishment and exception management, Oracle said. An extensible data model captures and manages both syndicated and retail point-of-sale data sources. The feature allows for a seamless blending of summary data from syndicated data sources; standard "day, store and SKU" retail data, and more granular inventory and sell-through information from individual inventory locations within the store.
