BlueStar Inc. has entered into a distribution agreement with Intermec for the Latin America region. BlueStar is a distributor of software for automatic ID, point of sale, mobility and radio frequency identification products. Intermec is a developer and integrator of technology and services that identify, track and manage supply chain assets and information. Its core technologies include rugged mobile computing and data-collection systems, barcode printers, label media and RFID. The new partnership will strengthen Intermec's Latin American reseller network, while broadening its product portfolio in that region to include such items as the new CN rugged mobile computer and PB label and receipt printers. BlueStar will distribute Intermec products to customers in Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean and Puerto Rico. Their partnership will focus on technology related to transportation and logistics, government, direct sales delivery, field service, healthcare, manufacturing, distribution and retail industries.
