TradeBeam, a vendor of global trade management software, has issued version 7.5 of iSupply, the company's application for collaborative inventory management. The update includes alerts for late deliveries and lean logistics orders, along with new visual stockout and promise indicators. The late-delivery alert warns buyers that orders placed with a supplier for a specified delivery date have not yet been received. The lean logistics "no order" alert notifies the supplier when no requirements for a given trading lane have been generated for a predetermined order schedule, because the buyer has enough material in the pipeline. The feature eliminates the need for phone calls and e-mails to the customer inquiring about missing orders, TradeBeam said. Enhanced color-coded stockout and promise indicators allow for easy identification of items that have reached stockout status. TradeBeam provides hosted software for import and export compliance and visibility, as well as for global trade finance.
