NetSuite Inc. has created a new version of its NetSuite OneWorld software that is tied to the E-Business Suite of Oracle Corp. Oracle customers can now use NetSuite's application, delivered via a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model, to manage multinational, multi-subsidiary business operations in real time. They can roll up division-level transaction and summary data to gain a company-wide view of business operations, NetSuite said. For example, a user can transfer general ledger, order and revenue information from NetSuite to Oracle E-Business Suite for aggregate financial-reporting purposes. The NetSuite application integrates with the Oracle E-Business Suite at the corporate level via SuiteCloud Connect for Oracle. It is based on a number of industry-standard technologies used for systems and application integration and data migration. The interfaces are well suited for integrating NetSuite OneWorld with other enterprise resource planning systems, particularly in support of such fundamental data types as invoices, purchase orders, item fulfillments, journal entries, inventory adjustments and expense reports, Oracle said.
