The Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) has signed an agreement with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) to offer AIAG training and workshop sessions in China on the topic of customs and trade regulation. The main areas of focus include a Harmonized Tariff Schedule overview, the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) initiative, a China customs overview, goods valuation, China free-trade agreements, handbook management, bonded equipment, bonded zones in China, resolving disputes with customs, and customs broker management. AIAG is a non-profit industry association providing recommendations on critical issues in customs and supply-chain management. Through the partnership with PwC, the organization expects its members in China to benefit from learning about international standards, guidelines and common practices in customs and trade regulations. PwC employs more than 155,000 people in 153 countries to provide assurance, tax and advisory services to its clients. Its operations in China, Hong Kong and Singapore entail more than 470 partners and 13,000 people.
