Chainalytics, a supply chain consulting firm focused on enabling fact-based supply chain decisions, was named the 2009 supply chain company of the year by the Metro Atlanta Chamber. Metro Atlanta has the fifth-largest concentration of supply chain companies and employment in the country, with more than 139,000 jobs. More than 90 percent of the top 25 service providers have operations in Atlanta.
This is the third year for the awards, which were created to recognize outstanding individuals and companies in metro Atlanta whose actions have advanced the state of the supply chain industry and promoted its continued growth. This year's theme was "Demand-Driven Supply Chains and What it Takes to be the Best."
