Amber Road, a vendor of global trade-management software, has released End-Use Manager. The on-demand application generates end-use surveys from customers, supplies and employees, for companies involved in cross-border transactions. In the process, it establishes a standardized method of managing and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations. End-Use Manager can be deployed as a Web-based portal across any global organization; it can be configured to meet the specific requirements of various business units. Users can develop surveys by business unit, transaction type, and origin and destination country, drawing on a pre-configured list of questions. All parties to the transaction are screened against the major sanctioned party lists. Capabilities offered by the product include enterprise deployment, based on a multi-organization deployment model; survey configuration; restricted party and critical country screening; generation and distribution of end-use statements in a PDF format via e-mail, and audit-trail review.
