The Cargo Division of American Airlines has relocated its terminal at Los Angeles International Airport. The facility includes a 3,000-square-foot cooler for perishables as well as and expanded areas for courier cargo, mail processing and a designated holding area for live animals. The operation is directly adjacent to American's previous cargo terminal at LAX. American Airlines Cargo provides more than 100 million pounds of weekly cargo lift capacity to major cities in the U.S., Europe, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, Latin America and Asia. American, American Eagle and the AmericanConnection regional airlines together serve more than 250 cities in some 40 countries, with around 3,400 daily flights. Their combined fleet numbers more than 900 aircraft.
