TBB Global Logistics will provide its customers with LoJack Supply Chain Integrity (SCI) technology for protecting cargo in transit. The company announced a partnership with LoJack, under which it will offer tracking devices and monitoring services from the vendor. TBB claims to be the first to provide LoJack SCI technology to shippers of high-value cargo. The portable tracking devices are the size of a mobile phone; they use a combination of global positioning system (GPS), cellular and radio-frequency technologies to monitor the precise location and temperature (when necessary) of shipments throughout the course of transportation. Multiple authorities are contacted if a shipment is stolen or goes missing. TBB Global Logistics provides domestic and international transportation management and supply-chain services through its Supply Chain Guardian brand. Offerings include customized warehouse logistics, procurement, inventory management and reverse logistics. The company also provides Web-based software for supply-chain management, and consulting services.
