Infor, a vendor of software for mid-market businesses, has made available a new application, Infor ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) SyteLine Shipping and Logistics. Developed in collaboration with Infor partner Pacejet, the module provides shipping, warehouse and logistics controls for managing order fulfillment. Customers can speed up and simplify picking, packing and shipping processes, the company said. Drawing on a suite of integrated tools, the application is intended to improve efficiency, lower freight expenses and increase visibility across multiple functions and departments. Companies can respond to requirements for special labeling, paperwork and other services. If they do not select a preferred shipping carrier or service, the system will automatically choose the best option to fulfill the order. ERP SyteLine Shipping and Logistics is available in scalable packages in line with customers' individual business needs. It is sold in three options: Standard Shipping, Advanced Shipping, and Shipping, Warehouse and Mobile. Pacejet provides Web-based shipping and logistics software.
