Rosslyn Analytics, a vendor of spend-analysis software via a hosted delivery model, has launched a suite of pre-built applications tied to what the vendor says is the world's first free self-service spend analytics platform. Rosslyn now offers more than 80 free role-based reports on spend analysis, available to procurement, finance, accounts payable, audit and compliance professionals. The self-service version of Rosslyn's spend analytics platform, known as Rapidintel, uses a definable Excel document. Employees upload company data into the platform, which automatically generates "slice-and-dice" analytical reports in a matter of minutes. Free drill-down reporting capabilities include the analysis of all spend (at supplier level) using multiple dimensions, monitoring of supply activity over a given period of time, quantification of potential category savings opportunities, prioritization and monitoring of suppliers, identification and elimination of duplicate payments, and complete analysis of AP-processed tax transactions. In another company development, Rosslyn has promised a six-month guarantee on customers' return on investment for buyers of the Rapidintel platform. If a customer fails to achieve a payback within that period of time, Rosslyn will refund the difference.
