QAD Inc. has made generally available the latest version of its QAD Enterprise Applications suite. QAD 2010 includes business intelligence functionality, allowing for analysis of, and reporting on, all business information. More than 43 new operational metrics have been built into QAD Enterprise Financials. A new user interface, QAD Customer Management, is contained within the QAD Configurator. It makes applications easier to learn and use, the vendor said. An Enterprise Materials Transfer feature allows users to streamline their back-office financial transactions related to the movement of materials within global or multi-entity companies. QAD Lean Manufacturing supports Lean Principles, with a new approach to kanban sizing and management. Enterprise Asset Management now features advanced usability and full integration to QAD 2010. QAD Supply Chain Portal, previously known as QAD Supply Visualization, offers improved inventory visibility, with a complete view of an organization's suppliers and related performance metrics. QAD Trade Relations Management helps retailers to manage their trade and promotional spending.
