Rosslyn Analytics, a vendor of hosted spend-analysis software, has launched a new spend data integration service, RA.Pid. The "cloud"-based service helps chief information officers to improve process efficiencies, boost productivity and enhance the capabilities of their IT organizations, according to Rosslyn. RA.Pid provides a range of automated tools for addressing complex data-integration projects. A wizard function allows users to schedule automated data extractions without relying on internal resources or Rosslyn to manage the process. Data can be extracted from virtually any enterprise resource planning (ERP) system within hours, and with minimal support from IT departments, Rosslyn claimed. RA.Pid features RA.DAR, a proprietary categorization and enrichment engine which normalizes and classifies all spend data. Its multi-tiered categorization methodology gives users a consistent source of accurate spend data that can be updated without manual intervention.
