The RouteTracker truck fleet performance management system from XATA Turnpike is now available to business customers of Verizon Enterprise. They can streamline their business processes through simplified billing, with XATA Turnpike subscription fees added directly to their Verizon Wireless bills. The RouteTracker device transmits global positioning system (GPS) and other key vehicle data to a wireless phone, and sends the data back to a hosted website. Verizon Wireless customers can access the XATA Turnpike tool on their handsets, resulting in fleet efficiencies such as Hours of Service (HOS) tracking and logging, the vendor said. Through XATA Turnpike, Verizon customers can integrate fleet and driver data with other third-party applications, so that the data can be easily collected and analyzed for maximum fleet optimization. XATA Turnpike is a division of XATA Corp., a vendor of software and services for optimizing fleet operations.
