Infosys Technologies Ltd. has entered into a strategic relationship with Jive Software. Jive's Social Business Software (SBS) for customer and employee engagement will now be included in the recently launched Insosys iEngage digital consumer platform. Jive's SBS integrates aspects of collaboration, community and social networking software. Infosys contributes a digital consumer platform with industry-specific focus and the advantages of a single point of accountability through its Enterprise SaaS (software as a service) model. Infosys will work closely with Jive in three areas: product road map, platform expertise and best-practice sharing. Collaboration between the two on a common product road map allows clients quickly to adopt new features and capabilities in line with growing digital demand, the partners said. The deal also allows the development of industry-specific applications which can be made available on Jive Apps Market. Infosys has set up a dedicated team of Jive-proficient product experts in all aspects of Jive's technology, to accelerate client adoption.
