Stockholm, Sweden-based Syncron International AB has released two new applications for master data management (MDM). They are Syncron Global Customer Master and Global Vendor Master V8. Enhancements in Version 8 allow users to consolidate customer and vendor data from dispersed systems, then cleanse, share and extend the information across their organizations. According to Syncron, customer requests were a key factor in development of the latest version of the MDM applications. Users get improved hierarchy management and record consolidation functionality, as well as easy configuration of customer and vendor data distribution to subscribing IT systems. The new products include a redesigned, browser-based user interface, which organizes both local and global master data records. Users can create and manage legal and operational hierarchies, and quickly set up and configure duplicate rules for matching and merging data, Syncron said.
