GT Nexus will host a panel of experts at its webinar titled The Collaborative Supply Chain in the Cloud, scheduled at 10.m. (ET), Dec. 2.
Experts slated to discuss the impact of cloud computing on global supply chain management include:
• Martin Christopher, Emeritus Professor of Marketing & Logistics, Cranfield School of Management
• Christian Verstraete, Chief Technology Officer, Worldwide Manufacturing and Distribution Industries, Hewlett-Packard
• Henning Husmann, Director, Business Development, Hermes-OTTO International, and
• Andy Stinnes, Managing Director, GT Nexus Europe.
"We are focusing on a topic that the market urgently needs to hear about," said Stinnes. "Cloud technology is more than just a major inflection point for supply chain technology. It enables information sharing models that are not possible with traditional software. The panel will explore how the cloud not only plays a vital economic role in making future IT initiatives more affordable and less risky but can enable powerful new collaboration models across trading communities or business networks. A question-and-answer session with the audience will follow.
