D&B Supply Management Solutions has introduced the Supplier Risk Manager Mobile system. The tool was designed to give procurement, finance and vendor-management professionals access to supplier status and alerts, with full Web access, from any mobile device, including the BlackBerry, Droid and iPhone. Users can receive phone-ready e-mail alerts when a supplier's status has changed, review supplier profiles and search for suppliers in D&B's global database of 179 million records. They can certify and track suppliers, apply predictive insights to get early warnings and instill proactive contingency plans, and receive alerts that a particular supplier might be stressed.
