Aras, a vendor of open-source software for product lifecycle management (PLM), has expanded its operations throughout mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan. The action is in response to growing demand for the company's services, as well as a desire to strengthen representation at the regional level, Aras said. The company's Aras Innovator PLM suite is built on a service-oriented architecture (SOA) model. It ranges across the full spectrum of product development, including supply chain, sales, quality and manufacturing. Aras applications are multi-language enabled with double-byte capabilities, and available in traditional and simplified Chinese.
