Accellos Inc. has developed a new version of its Accellos One Schedule dock-door scheduling system. Version 2.0 adds support for Microsoft Outlook functionality, including recurring appointments, reservations, drag-and-drop scheduling and adjustments, and a user-definable appointment lifecycle. Utilizing the Accellos Integration Framework, Schedule can be used with the suite of Accellos One supply-chain applications, and virtually any other enterprise resource planning, warehousing, transportation or logistics software, the vendor said. Version 2.0 of Accellos One Schedule is in limited beta release and is planned for a Dec., 2010 general release. In another company announcement, Accellos has created One Nexus, a business-to-business gateway product for the exchange and management of electronic documents. It includes support for major document-transport standards, including ASC X12, UN EDIFACT, XML, and ASCII delimited or fixed position files. Its communication gateway includes a Drummond-certified AS2 adapter with support for FTP, HTTP, HTTP/S and other connectivity options, including Accellos' value-added network (VAN). A browser-based Document Manager offers an intuitive user experience for rapid adoption, while providing updates on the status of time-sensitive and critical documents. A graphical mapping tool provides flexibility for unique trading-partner requirements.
