Arrow Electronics Inc. is now serving the reverse supply-chain business segment with three distinct brands. Arrow is a global provider of products and services to industrial and commercial users of electronic components and computing technology. ReSolve is the name of a new provider of global reverse logistics services. It enables original equipment and contract manufacturers to manage the reverse supply chain, streamline service spares logistics, and minimize operational overhead. Intechra is a source of services related to the disposition of information-technology assets. It is targeting businesses, OEMs and government organizations, with an eye toward eliminating the risks surrounding data security, compliance and environmental impacts. Converge is an independent distributor of electronic components and provider of related market expertise. The three new offerings were all designed to complement the supply-chain services of Arrow Electronics. The company's launch of ReSolve follows its acquisitions of Converge and Intechra in 2010. All three are providing "the foundation of our strategic growth in the reverse supply chain industry," said Mark Majeske, vice president of global supply chain services with Arrow Electronics.
