LeanLogistics has released version 10.3.0 of its On-Demand TMS (transportation management system) software. The update builds on the vendor's original application, launched in 2000, and available under a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model. The hosted nature of the software allows LeanLogistics to make the new version immediately and simultaneously available to all users in its Transportation Network "cloud." Features of the new version include the ability of users to make multiple shipment claims on a single form, and create claims on shipments from a carrier load report. Also included are functions for enhanced claim accuracy, graphic optimization reporting, enhanced appointment scheduling and greater ease of use across a wider community. LeanLogistics' software is used by Fortune 1000 companies and major third-party logistics providers. It offers transportation planning, execution, settlement and procurement, as well as supply-chain visibility and business intelligence.
