Accellos, a vendor of supply-chain execution software, has created a new version of Accellos One Workspace. The composite application framework provides the foundation for the company's current and future products. Version 2.2 embraces the cloud-computing model. Workspace has been certified with Microsoft Windows Azure and SQL Azure, giving customers a variety of delivery options. Accellos has also built an integration with Microsoft Lync United Communications Server, to allow for "presence-aware" applications and integrated collaboration. A multi-tenant and identity claim system allows for secure visibility of the customer's entire organization, Accellos said. The new tool is slated for a March, 2011 general release.
