Accellos Inc. has created a new suite of supply-chain applications, known as Accellos One PinPoint, based on the vendor's One Workspace foundation. Offered as a virtual "cloud"-based appliance, PinPoint is aimed at small to medium-sized businesses. It includes applications for warehouse management, pick-path optimization, multi-carrier parcel shipping, route and load optimization, shipping execution, electronic data interchange, document imaging, appointment scheduling, activity billing, labor management, customer visibility, alerts, executive dashboards, reporting, and integrations to major enterprise resource planning software. Specific apps can be selected and configured to meet a customer's individual preferences, Accellos said. Accellos One PinPoint is currently in limited beta release, and is slated for general availability in April of 2011.
