PINC Solutions, creator of the yard-management system known as Yard Hound, has integrated the tool with the Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) application of SAP AG, as well as with SAP's Extended Services platform. PINC has also joined the SAP Partner Program. The integration allows users of Yard Hound to chart, view, analyze and model supply-chain data retrieved directly from EWM. For SAP customers that have implemented SAP Yard and Dock, the addition of PINC's YMS software provides access to real-time arrivals, departures and appointment information on the SAP desktop. They can also view real-time location and other data from their PINC desktops. At the same time, SAP integrators can work with PINC to build out integrations for customers using PINC's application programming interface, along with the new combined PINC/SAP code base.
